New England Vacation Day Four

We had a lot of options for day trips. Our first idea was Martha's Vineyard, but after researching the transportation we decided to stick closer to Boston and head to Providence, RI. Martha's Vineyard will have to be a vacation in itself sometime in the future.

Providence was a good choice. It is a one hour ride on the commuter train south of Boston. Once there it took us about on hour to get our bearings and make a plan. We lunched at Lux Burger and then walked ALL OVER the city. Lots of history and New England charm here!

The "Wall of Hope"- hundreds of tiles created by children. RI's community response to 9/11.

 The capital is beautiful!

We walked about 8 miles all over this city. Saw it all and then hopped back on the train and were back in the city by 5:30.

This is our last night in Boston. We ordered a pizza and hung out on the stoop.
