Lindsborg, Kansas

We spent the last day of our Kansas trip in Lindsborg, a town of about 3,500, known as "Little Sweden". It was originally settled by a group of Swedish immigrants. Wooden Dala horses are all over town.

We ate lunch at The Swedish Crown. I had delicious lentil soup.

Swedish art is sprinkled around town. This is called "The Chase".
The highlight of this day, for me, was our visit to the Red Barn Studio. The museum showcases the work of the artist Lester Raymer. I had a Raymer print my mother gave me many years ago. I bought another one and was able to see some of his sculpture art quilt art.

We spent the night at the an authentic inn.
Our last meal in Kansas was a Swedish breakfast.
